Pricing

Three shapes. One honest number.

We don’t bill by the hour, and we don’t hide quotes behind a form. Three engagement shapes cover most projects — start where you fit, change shape later as the work grows.

Sprint

A fixed, focused engagement — audit, prototype, or surgical fix.

From $4,800

fixed-price engagement · 1 week

Best for

Teams that need a fast, high-signal answer or a contained piece of work — without committing to a multi-month build.

Included

  • Discovery call and scoped brief on day one
  • One named lead through the whole engagement
  • Async working updates on a shared channel
  • Written deliverable and recorded walkthrough at the end
  • 30 days of follow-up questions, no clock running

Example outcomes

  • Architecture or codebase audit with prioritised actions
  • Working prototype to validate a product direction
  • Performance pass on a specific page or workflow
  • Design-system spike that unblocks a build

Build

Most common

Ship a real product, end to end, on a calendar.

From $24,000

scope-shaped, phased · 6–12 weeks typical

Best for

Teams ready to commit to a defined launch — a new product, a major redesign, or a critical internal tool.

Included

  • Product discovery and technical scoping
  • UX flows, interface design, and prototypes
  • Full-stack engineering on a typed Next.js + TypeScript + PostgreSQL stack
  • Auth, roles, billing, and tenancy where the project needs it
  • QA pass, observability setup, and a real handover
  • Two weeks of post-launch support included

Example outcomes

  • MVP web product ready for first paying customers
  • Internal tool that replaces a spreadsheet workflow
  • Marketing site + product portal connected to the same data
  • Customer-facing dashboard with live data and reporting

Partner

Embedded as your product team, month to month.

From $9,500

per month, 3-month minimum · Monthly, rolling

Best for

Teams shipping continuously who want the rigor of a product team without hiring one — or while they hire one.

Included

  • Dedicated technical lead and a recurring sprint rhythm
  • Weekly demo and async working updates
  • Roadmap planning and prioritisation with your team
  • Senior engineering across product, infra, and data work
  • First call within one business day on operational issues
  • Quarterly architecture review and technical-debt accounting

Example outcomes

  • Continuous feature delivery without an in-house engineering hire
  • Bridge engineering while you recruit your founding team
  • Senior support for an existing engineering team that needs depth
  • Long-tail product evolution after the launch sprint

Numbers above are starting points. Scope sets the exact quote — once we’ve scoped the work together, the number stops moving. We never bill by the hour.

How engagements work

The same rhythm at every tier.

The price changes with the scope. The rhythm doesn’t — every engagement gets the same four commitments.

  1. Brief in 48 hours

A 30-minute discovery call. Day one or two we send a written scope, a calendar, and a quote you can sign off on without surprises.

  2. One named lead

Every engagement gets a senior lead from the start. You always know who owns the work and who you'll meet on the demo.

  3. Weekly demo, async otherwise

A real, working demo every week. The rest of the time you'll see written updates and PRs — no calendar tax for the sake of it.

  4. Honest re-scopes

If the scope changes from your side, we re-quote the increment openly before continuing. No surprise line items at the end.

Frequently asked

Straight answers.

If your question isn’t here, ask it on the contact form — we answer pricing questions in writing before any call.

Do you bill by the hour?

No. Sprint and Build engagements are scope-shaped fixed quotes; Partner engagements are a flat monthly retainer. Hourly billing rewards slow work and punishes you when we move fast — neither is what you want.

What's actually included in the price?

Everything listed under the tier — discovery, design, engineering, QA, and a real handover. We don't unbundle items mid-engagement to sneak the number up. If scope changes, we re-scope together before any work starts on it.

Can I move between tiers?

Yes, and most teams do. A Sprint often de-risks the scope for a Build; a Build often graduates into a Partner engagement once the product is live and the roadmap is real.

What happens if we go over the timeline?

If we miss a milestone for a reason on our side, we absorb it — you are not paying twice for our planning. If scope changes from your side, we re-quote the increment honestly before continuing.

Do you offer equity or rev-share deals?

Rarely, and only after a paid Sprint where both sides have seen how we work. We've found that pure-equity engagements quietly de-prioritise either side, so we keep most work on a clear paid arrangement.

What does kickoff actually look like?

A 30-minute discovery call to lock the brief, a written scope on day one or two, and a clear calendar before any code is written. You'll know exactly what we're building, who's leading, and when you'll see it next.

Not sure which tier yet?

Tell us about the work.

One short call is enough to point you at the right engagement shape — or to say plainly when we’re not the right team for it.
